Pregnancy is a phase of change, of transformation. It is not uncommon for it to be accompanied by minor complaints, which often improve with a little skilled help.
This part of midwifery work goes beyond preventative care / pregnancy checkups. I would be happy to advise you here too - my classic midwifery knowledge and further training in K-Taping, Chinese medicine and perinatal massage (pregnancy massage) are particularly helpful.
Together we will try to find a way to improve or resolve your symptoms.
It is important to me to work with your gynecologist, to whom I will be happy to refer you to any problems that go beyond my area of expertise and knowledge.
Possible complaints that we can discuss and treat:
- Fears
- Breech position
- Varicose veins / hemorrhoids
- Cardiovascular problems
- Feeling unwell
- Pain (e.g. shoulders, back, sacrum, pubic bone)
- Heartburn
- Nausea and vomiting
- Exceeding the expected due date
- Braxton Hicks contractions / preterm labor
- Premature rupture of membranes
- Edema
